I offer in-person individual psychotherapy to adults from my office in South Seattle. I see individuals at least weekly and sometimes multiple times per week, depending on need. I offer telehealth sessions only to individuals who have established in-person care and on a case-by-case basis.

My fee is $150 per 50 minute session. I understand that cost may be a barrier to seeking care. I have a limited number of low cost slots for those in need of a reduced fee.

I am in network with First Choice Health Network, Kaiser’s PPO Plan, Premera Blue Cross, and Lifewise. If I am out of network with your insurance company, I can provide receipts for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement at an out-of-network reimbursement rate.

Psychotherapy involves a process of illuminating your world, understanding that world, and taking action to change yourself and your world based on that illumination and understanding. I hold the perspective that our early experiences can have a significant impact on our lives, often far more than we realize, and that working to understand how these experiences have shaped us can lead to greater freedom, autonomy, and creatvity in our present living.

Psychotherapy is not only for those with "capital T" trauma or a mental health diagnosis, but for anyone who would like to get to know themselves more deeply; to listen to what emerges when they pay careful, kind attention to themselves. If you are looking for a space to slow down, sink deeper into the authority of your experience, and listen for the whisper of truth coming from within, we may be a good fit to work together.

I work from a psychodynamic perspective, influenced by British Object Relations and psychoanalysis, and integrating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I have unique experience working with men, experiences of sexual abuse, and those impacted by incarceration. I enjoy working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and identities and am LGBTQ+ affirming.

“…and there was a new voice which you slowly recognized as your own, that kept you company as you strode deeper and deeper into the world, determined to do the only thing you could do - determined to save the only life that you could save.”
